... spice added at the table, the rose wine tasted amazing with this dish, really cleaned the palates. The reds weren't as great, too many competing spices, The next course was ribs and sausage, with a fresh green salad, delicious... The sausage was outstanding, A fourth wine was offered, Red, what Gino called a super Tuscan wine, Big bold flavour, our favourite. The next course was spectacular... Amazingly thick balsamic vinegar eaten with porcini cheese... ...

... we went to the Uffizi which is Italy's greatest art gallery. It was built between 1560 and 1580 and was used as a gallery to house Francesco I to display the Medici art treasures. We saw many beautiful pieces by Michalagelo, Carrvaggio, Botticelli and Titian.
