It's quickly become apparent that I won't be able to do one of these every day but only when possible really. Yesterday (or I suppose you could argue the day before) we took the train from New York to Chicago. We dropped our stuff off at Penn Station and had another quick look around New York, bought a Bulls hoodie ready for the game in Chicago as well.

This is not my first time flying. I am still nervous about a few things though. I'm worried we'll be delayed at some point and I'm not looking forward to the plane ride. And what goes up must come down...... Or rather what goes out must come back in again........ Let's go get a hot dog...... Gee I could do with a drink....... I could ...

... we took ourselves off to get some running repairs. I got a hair cut and Karen a mani pedi. Of course the nails take forever so I tried out 3 local pubs to catch some local flavour.

In a great mood we reached Randi and Charlie's place. Charlie was soon home and we proceeded to relax in the backyard enjoying the warm weather.

... into for the next 8 hours. The sarcasm is not entirely lost on her and she seems happy for Graham and me to do our own seat allocations..

I plonk myself down next to a lass who had plans to sprawl over two seats. She isn't best pleased when my coughing doesn't subside for the next 20 minutes and eventually, after hitting the hostie for a glass of water and scoring a magical tic tac from the lass next door, I can resume normal ...
