I pulled on thick protective trousers, zipped up the back, my hot black anorak, the straps and thick chainsawing gloves...brush cutting here we come. I love the repetitive swing of the machine, it's high pitched whine and the satisfaction of felling triffids! Aubons (porrasa) are about 4' high. ... hour and then I finally hear them. By this point the sun has set and it's completely dark out. They finally catch up to me and we head back together.. It took ages and we ended up missing the last bus in Soller so we had to get a damn taxi.... Moral of the story is that I don't believe other people and I double check their info! It was definitely an adventure and we had a good time, but I'd definitely rather not repeat this experience ...
