... Slimy mounds of calcite glistened and we admired the landscape of the roof in the plunge pool of water that has been constructed, perhaps for sacred bathing, or for sheep to cool themselves in! We clamoured back to the cafe and hostel, grabbed some well earned beers and stretched out in the sunshine and siestad. As we journeyed down the moon rose and the rock glowed orange behind us. ... his white dinner jacket, black trousers, black shirt and white bow tie. Our team performed admirably in the syndicate quiz finishing 1st equal on 17 points. However we lost out on the tie-break. The question was "How long was the Hundred Years' War"? There were 3 teams in the tiebreak. We thought 113 years and the other 2 teams went for 65 and 114 years. The correct answer was 116 so we were close but not close ...
