... got some heavy duty washing that needs to be done – we were planning on doing the laundry when we are next in a marina - which after researching is some time off.
The marina in Mahon is asking for a minimum stay of 3 days and the charge band is the highest so we are looking at alternatives.

... CQR anchor and stowing away our now totally redundant
Kobar, we headed around the south east coast, north.

They say bad luck strikes in threes – well today was the third. As we tried to take out our main sail we couldn't budge it – it is totally jammed in the in-mast furler. Not good news at all.

We took it easy taking in the sites – this coastline is really stunning – different rock formations etc and ...

... cost the earth. In the end we decided upon going to Palma and it was going to be 70E + per night and water was costing 5E regardless of how muchyou consumed upto 5m3 – lets face it we, even after filling bothwater tanks and washing the decks several times would be lucky to use1m3 – RIP OFF!!

We were warned thatthe berth they allocated us would be fairly rocky – so we wanted toget there before the sea breeze would come in. No luck ...

... that we could see more of Ibiza. Along the way we passed Ibiza Town and we are very happy that we didn't go there – the anchorage didn't look particularly inviting
and the town itself, well, is just one huge resort with wall to wall apartments.

When we arrived at Formentera the anchorage we wanted to take was now full of mooring
bouys, so we headed to the next beach which was full ...
