Avant de prendre l'autobus, nous nous sommes achetes des sandwichs pour le voyage. Comme Emilie ne voulait pas manger de sandwich avec des charcuteries, elle s'est retrouvee avec un sandwich a l'omelette espagnol, ce qui veut dire en fait... un sandwich a l'omelette aux patates! ... what an experience that was... Me and my 2 bags on the back of a motorbike, thankfully it was only about a 2km trip to the hotel.
There's little to do in Ninh Binh but it's purely a stop over for my trip tomorrow to tam Coc .
I'll got out for a wander later and then come back & plan for Hue.
Ill upload the photos of Halong Bay when I get to Hue as I doubt there will be an Internet cafe here!

... he knew that he was our tour guide, he acted more as a cowboy herding us, the money cows, from place to place. He never told us anything interesting, never informed us of the schedule until the last minute and was just plain rude at times. But he wasn’t enough to ruin a great trip though. For people considering to take a similar trip I would recommend taking the two day one night on the boat option on a three star boat or even three days two nights on the boat option.
