... end of poor Alicia's phone as she was constantly being called with questions about the wedding. That night we headed into town where we had dinner and drinks with Alicia's parents, Nate's sister, Stephanie, and a couple of Alicia's friends.

Friday was packing for all concerned and final wedding preparations before we all went our separate ways. A wedding rehearsal occurred later in the day followed by a dinner at Alicia and Nate's favourite mexican restaurant, La Hacienda ...

... first day here. Where is it?! I can't wear my hotpants and dresses down the ranch can I?! I never did find it and so did't manage to get a hoody but I did find a pair of jeans and a funky chequered shirt!! Awesome!!

Out for a meal in the evening with Kirsty and Jamie, I laugh so much at the things Jamie comes out with he is hilarious, yet he has little idea just how funny he is!!ha ha!!

Off to bed as need to be up at 6am for the first and only bus to the outback...

... a beer now for 7 days. This isn’t a problem I have been a lot longer without beer and I’m not an alcoholic (Alcoholics go to meetings!) the problem was that if I had got some US Dollars I could have bought a crate of 24 Heineken Beers for $20! Now with 6 nights on board that’s 4 beers a night/day. Oh well I will just have to wait until I can get my hands on a nice ice cold Tooheys!

Day 92-94 Moore River & Gingin Mon March 2nd - Wed March 4th 2009 We dropped in on Geoff & Vinnie Valentine and two of their three girls at Guildford on our way out of Perth, having a feast for afternoon tea and a cuppa. They are a great couple, whom we have known since the Kangaroos days in Sydney. It was lovely to see them and unexpectedly they offered to take the kids to the park whilst we stocked up on groceries before we left ...

... and Frank's place in Marmion where we had lunch and caught up on all the family gossip. Frank's health problems continue although he remains resolutely cheerful and as usual, when asked how he was simply said "very well" when of course everyone else knows different. Jo also had three mini strokes a few weeks ago and is on medication but she too gets on with life. Lynne arrived while we were having lunch and later guided us to Karrinyup where we bought some ...

Did make it through Kings Park. Unfortunately, due to a wild fire, the treetop walk was closed. (I did make it back on Wed nite - see another entry). Amazing to have such a big park in the main city area. Good views back down on the river and city skyscrapers. Also has a monument to war heroes, as well as the botanical garden.
