      ... before I saw and a mobile zoo of exotic animals: lizards, praying mantis insects and a wopping huge spider. Moving swiftly on pass the screaming fairground rides, onto the next street crammed with people in and out of the stalls, people dodging & not really getting much of a look in, down to the shear volume of bodies in our way. Nothing else for it but to go in to the next pub at the top of Knox Street. Our local, The Sheath was also busy, but thankfully not too busy ...

      ... but worthwhile, yes! The doctor gave me antibiotics too, to cover any illnesses along the way. I joked with him that I'll be taking more medications than clothes with me on my trip.

      ... cold, wind & rain would be a reoccurring theme during our stay. Turns out New South Wales has distinct seasons and can get chilly whilst Queensland further north has consistent warm weather.
