... debating whether to put it all on your back or to distribute the contents into a hand held bag as well that will make your arm lose circulation but relieves some back stress. (I know, woe is me, poor little European traveler. No sympathy, I get it.) Anyway, I opted for the 2-pack for this travel day. I knew I was going to be on a long bus ride so I had my computer and books and earphones, etc. in a smaller bag. The hulking backpack that looks like a tightly wrapped ...
Valencia, Valencia, Spain josiezim... interesting. I saw all the buildings colored in white with bright orange outlines. Huge stone towers stood on opposite sides of the city at one time used for protecting and overlooking the city. Also the city has an enormous garden running all along the border underneath the bridges and it is wonderful for strolling through on a sunny afternoon. The architecture has this similar style as the past two southern places I visited with lots of bright oranges and ...
Valencia, Valencian Country, Spain and Canary Islands hippietraveler... just). Recycling is easier and sometimes even faster! You are just lucky with what you get (mostly even surprised and excited!). You decide what to take by checking what is still edible and hygienically sane to take. Then you start to think: "O yesterday we already recycled loads of broccoli, we can leave this. and take some carrots instead..". No worries about spending too much, buying things that are unhealthy or not ...
Valencia, Valencia, Spain holadiyo... the city. In Valencia, things simply glisten in that Mediterranean sun.

It may be fall in most places out there (and winter in others...[cough] Czech Republic) but we're just not ready to settle into boots and coats. So we're off in a couple days to our last warm destination - Portugal. Of course I hear barnacles are a local treat here. Hmmmm...perhaps a culinary adventure this will not be.

Adeu [Adios]!
C&W

Torrent, Valencian Country, Spain and Canary Islands nyassey... people- the river flows and there is no need to go over things again. Yes, we have all missed each other but the truth is that we are still the same people yet living in different "environments" therefore the gears have no need to go on reverse. I would like to thank Clara for her wonderful dinner as I thoroughly enjoyed it- I couldn't´t wait to meet your "new" family. Moreover, your chats are worth ...
Valencia, Valencian Country, Spain and Canary Islands arocaatkinson... better to go out for Halloween, but unfortunately that did not happen. Sunny's stomach was also bothering her, but she rose above it and still went out for Halloween. Since we had went out for dinner every night before we decided to make dinner to save some money. I was able to eat a little of it, but I was in my pajamas for the rest of the night. All of Sunny's friends came over to drink before going out. Sunny dressed up as a fairy, 2 guys ...
Valencia, Valencian Country, Spain and Canary Islands hithere52... Spaniards about their culture and history more than reading about it in a book or going to a museum or lecture or watching TV. I feel that those things (often out of necessity) can't fully cover the range of emotions and feeling that people have about different topics. Books and TV and such can often be misleading it making you think things a certain concrete way in different countries. Also, it seems that a lot of the prejudices books or ...
Valencia, Spain and Canary Islands angelalivengood... soo many stairs and you're basically walking up and down a mountain. The day we went to the beach we ran into these three little Itailan kids and they had two little puppies with them and they heard us go "awwwwwwwww" so they turned around and grabbed the puppies and brought them to us.. One of the puppies was named "Black" and the other "Jordi" and the three kids were Antonella! Rafaeli! and Maria! Hahaha they were so cute and could speak english. So we chilled with the kids ...
Valencia, Spain michelleshin... prove useful for several of my classes. I turned out 5 pages about nothing in European Union. Pretty nice to be able to BS in another language I suppose. Sabine and I tried and failed to reserve one of the indoor courts for a soccer game. Its surprising how they screw the spring study abroad students out of activities. They offer several instructional classes with sports and martial arts and things. I would have loved to participate in one of ...
