... it's mainly cool because you ride round it on a bike made for the rails. You can stop over in a Lap camp if you can't make it all the way round, well worth a visit if you need to entertain the kids amongst you. I mean ME
So for all you travellers out there, head up from Gothenburg, come off the E6 at Uddevalla, head towards Bengstfors on the 172. Trust me it's worth it, but be warned this part of the world isn't cheap to live in.

Wow, finally checked the Norwegian fjords off my bucket list, and I'm so glad I did. Absolutely incredible! The only downside? The obvious answer in Europe... the rain! Chucked it down most the boat ride. There is a plus side to this though - the waterfalls were even more powerful. Hamburgbukta & Damskoya Latitude 79 Degrees North

The spectacular ever-changing landscape is covered with snow. We are in North-northwestern Spitsbergen, almost our farthest north. The sun is shining, it is 37 degrees F and there is no sea ice. We anchor off of Hamburgbukta, an old German whaling site, dating from the late 16th century.

... back to Al. We had heaps of time so Harald drove me around town for a bit. Not a lot to see, except for the beautiful Norwegian countryside that is. No wonder Harald loves this place.
