... that Portugal has to offer. One city calls itself the Venice of Portugal! Should be interesting. But first I will head 40 minutes west to Sintra a UNESCO World Heritage Site after that it is east to Evora another World Heritage Site with amazing castles and ancient ruins. I'll try to send lots of photos. Please remember this is all new to me so hopefully things will turn out ...

... old school looking payphones!) and we were told that a tow truck would come and get us and bring us to the nearest auto shop in Maine. We were told 45 minutes til the tow truck would come.

We went over to the US border and spoke with the border patrol officers and they helped us get the car over onto the US side. Ben and a US patrol officer pushed the car while I got to steer (I got the EASY job!YES!!!).

And this is how Ben and I made our grand entrance ...

... days . . . at Calais, Maine. It is a real small crossing, but it was quite busy. It took almost a half hour to cross. We haven't made a lot of stops to see things and take pictures; we have been more focused on making road time. But, before we crossed we saw a sign for a stop at a blueberry farm. We woke up relaxed and well rested, but looking at low ceilings and rain.

I had harbored hopes that we might head to just outside Boston to spend the night and take in a Red Sox game, but it was proving to be too complicated and costly to pull off.I was used to Seattle ticket prices where good but cheap bleacher seats could be gotten for $25, but the cheapest seats in Boston were more than 4 times as expensive.
