    ... spent time regularly checking in with the fuel guy. Finally at about one o’clock the computer glitch had been fixed. It was time to fuel up. Rick left Patti at Loreto Fest HQ and headed for Winterhawk in the dinghy. Once there he fired up the engine, which for the first time in nearly eleven months died immediately after starting.     ... now. As expected, they are like-minded people but diverse in their life experiences. Most are about our age. We feel lucky to be together with such a group and are looking forward to sharing some good adventures with them.

    We returned to the hotel for lunch outside on a terrace overlooking the pool and marina. There was a choice of shrimp cocktail, marlin tacos or a cheeseburger with a soft drink.     ... good technique and hang on for dear life in order to have some very thrilling rides. This location has maybe the "best sunsets" of anywhere else we have been in our travels. It also has a very nice pool for more sedate bathing. Unfortunately it is a long way to stores and other amenities so that is probably the biggest detractor for this location.
