    ... spent time regularly checking in with the fuel guy. Finally at about one o’clock the computer glitch had been fixed. It was time to fuel up. Rick left Patti at Loreto Fest HQ and headed for Winterhawk in the dinghy. Once there he fired up the engine, which for the first time in nearly eleven months died immediately after starting.     We returned to the hotel for lunch outside on a terrace overlooking the pool and marina. There was a choice of shrimp cocktail, marlin tacos or a cheeseburger with a soft drink.     ... on Saturday April 5th. We have just wished "Bon Voyage" to Hazel and her crew (Ross, Cathie, Ray, Lydia and Kona, of course) as they make their way back north after a lovely warm holiday. They have been really great to travel with, have shown us lots of great places / things of interest in Mexico and oriented us to the wonders of the people and places in a gracious and appreciative way.     ... distinctive architectural character is protected. Today the population is about 13,000. The town has lots of charm.

    After Alamos we drove to where we are now, San Carlos. It was our first and is our last camping spot in Mexico. We watched about 4 big rigs head out of the campground this morning, and it looks like we will be joining them tomorrow, sad but true.
