Today we spent the day sailing down the coast of Mexico. From our map, we are off the coast of Acapulco. No port stops today as we are heading to Guatamala, which takes two nights and two days sailing to arrive. The waters are very calm and the sailing very smooth. We are both very relaxed and Johnny is enjoying the variety of foods on board.

Taxco was quite an interesting place to visit – almost 100% Mexican with Bochos (Volswagen Beetles) seemingly everywhere, and markets being somehow worked into impossible tiny cobbled side streets. We had a 5 hr wait in Acapulco for our overnight bus to Puerto Escondido. Both keen to see the famous cliff divers and not too sure how it would happen. But a lovely little mexican taxi driver Orlando took us under his wing and chauffeured us around for 4 hrs all for $20.
