    To top off the day, we climbed back onto our saddles and road to the Coriano Commonwealth Cemetery not far from here. One of the tour guides is a history buff and volunteered to lead us out there. There are over 1,000 commonwealth soldiers buried there as much fighting took place in this area as the Allies pushed north in 1944. There are 400-500 Canadian graves at the cemetery and we were all very moved by the setting ...

    ... tonight, yesterday was a garden tour. Tomorrow there are Italian lessons and Marg has talked the proprietress into allowing one the biking tour guides to lead a small group of us to the Commonwealth War cemetery in a nearby town where there are over 1,0000 Commonwealth allied soldiers buried.
    There may be some Italian lessons and cooking lessons in our future as well.
