        we caught the 10.30am train up to Lauterbrunnen then got on our bus transfer, which then takes you to the start of the cable cars. We took 3 different cable cars to the top, and the views were incredible. The Swiss alps are so damn amazing, photos just don't do it justice. You have to see it for your own eyes!!

        ... the bus i spot a sign that tells me i can walk back to Lauterbrunnen. Its a 1.5 hour walk. Why not, the sun is still shining and its a balmy 8 degrees. The first part of the path is a snowy, icy slippery, before changing to a paved path. It is only when i look over my shoulder that i stop in my tracks. The view of the mountains is beautiful.

        The path runs along a small river in the Lauterbrunnen valley, and there are huge vertical cliffs both sides. ...

        We slept in a bit today and did a lot of hiking. We were trying to see some mountain animals, but I think we left too late, because the tourists likely scared them away. But despite no animal sighting, the views were absolutely amazing. On one side there was a huge valley and on the other was the lake and the alps. I didn't realize it but I got pretty sunburned lol.
