... treated to 10 days of incredible before we left. This trip was a 10 year wedding anniversary gift to ourselves and one we won’t soon forget….(even if the internet did…). We are incredibly blessed to have one another and to have shared such a special experience. We are living the dream.

... br abp="657">Decide lunch was too late to have dinner, so I got myself a salad from the co-op to eat in the park but thereafter I decided at 8.30pm ish returning to the hotel - because there was still daylight - I’d sit at the outdoor cafe/restaurant looking up at mountains I had spent the day with – with a glass of wine and a few slices of difference cheeses.

... a window to view the cheese as it matured. Everything in Switzerland seems so well kept, built, ordered, organised and it’s consistent between every town, and home. Each home has beautiful garden beds and flower boxes as well as beautifully kept vegetable gardens. I think I could live in one of these towns.
At some point along this journey, we began to follow a stream which grew larger as we approached Interlaken. At first there were glimpses of ...
... strolled along a walking path to the lake of Brienzersee and followed it around for quite some distance - the locals were swimming from the banks of the lake so we stuck a toe in - quite cool but refreshing. Some people were even floating down the rapid moving river between the two lakes on inflatable rings.
We had dinner at the hotel restaurant on the river and then a relaxing movie night.
The next day ...
We slept in a bit today and did a lot of hiking. We were trying to see some mountain animals, but I think we left too late, because the tourists likely scared them away. But despite no animal sighting, the views were absolutely amazing. On one side there was a huge valley and on the other was the lake and the alps. I didn't realize it but I got pretty sunburned lol. Anyway, check Facebook for tons of pictures. I think I uploaded about 90 ...
