    We were starting to feel we were to only backpackers with backpacks travelling until arriving at Zagreb (Croatia's capital) to catch the overnight train to Split. Wow!!! Hundreds of people cramming onto this train, it took over an hour to get through our carriage to our seat after cues of backpackers that all unable to move. Little did we know there was one of the biggest electro music festivals happening in Split, hence crazy ...

    ... go to a small smoke filled bar with no air conditioning and one old man drinking beer. We asked about the hostel and were told to wait.     ... sailing thing... Boats galore!!! Well I can see why it would be popular, 1 week chilling in the sun just relaxing yes please....

    ... guided tour of the downtown while we slept in and enjoyed a relaxing morning. We joined up for lunch by the harbour and then walked to the north hill and a view of the town below. In the afternoon we explored the downtown and the remains of the old palace, dating from the 10th century, which had been directly incorporated into traditional and nouveau buildings.
