Although we love this river so much we must start thinking about pushing on, so we left Alcoutin and headed back to Ayamonte. Being a Sunday and Spain, everything is closed so we took advantage of having internet connectivity and caught up on lots of admin and emails etc.
... is part of the border of Spain and Portugal. Unfortunately the wind was on the nose therefore no sail.
We got the to marina at Ayamonte and discovered it to be quite silted up therefore not enough depth for us to stay in at low water. So we filled our water tanks and then proceeded to anchor just outside the marina.

... t sure of the depths, decided against it. In the evening we enjoyed the oysters. Gen had bought this grill type appliance which we used to grill the oysters under – and it worked nicely.
