... flag one down and he pulled up immediately outside our caravan and opened the doors. No we did not go Africa (see pin on the map) it's just that there is also a Régua in Angola as well, and that was a Portuguese possession, Travelpod placed the pin!

Yesterday at 14:00 we cast off and began our sail up the Douro River. The Valley was closed to shipping from 1964 to 1985 for the construction of 5 dams and locks to make the river more navigable. Now cargo as well passenger vessels like ours sale on the River. One of the photos today will be the first of the 5 locks we use to go up River.

They then took the Wine by barge down river to Porto and then shipped it to England.
