... cold beer. Nate if your are reading this, please add the picture our send it to me ! Tomorrow we have a choice, boat ride up the Douro river, or ride to our next stop in Terreiro. About half doing either, I'm riding, Leslie is boating. It's our "leg breaker day". Not sure what the issue is , only 90k, and 1650m in climbing. Lots of ups and downs, the climbs are shorter than we have had, just steeper. Hummm .... Will let you know how it goes ... No beer, mid ride .... ...

... giving us a bit of a run around down town. At last she says we arrived but couldn't really spot the Avis office so Joe walked back down the one way street only to spot the “AVIZ” Café. Wasted an hour on that one but decided to give the GPS another try to find the aeroporto and away we went. Only ask Ms. Garmin to take us to the airport and hope we could find Avis. Yes, we spotted it. We debated if we should return the old VW Golf full of petrol ...

... visited the Sandeman winery, one of the premier port manufacturers where we had a tour of the facility, learned the process of making port, and tasted several of their wines.

Entertainment on the boat tonight was a local group of musicians and singers who played typical Portuguese folk music and even a bit of fado. We sat too close to the front and I ended up as part of a Portuguese folk dance where I can proudly say I held my own!
