Sirevåg was as before, more or less deserted with just a few scattered pleasure and workboats occupying spaces on the extensive quay areas. We opted to berth on the opposite side to the last visit for no other reason other than its nice to have a change. We arrived early at Stavanger and got an airport bus to the downtown bus station. Then we took the 5 hour bus trip to Bergen through the densely settled and highly organised rural landscape we had seen from the air. It was a balmy 20 degree day. The bus went ...

... 8211; a flat battery. Knowing what that's like, we decided to stop and help, so we didn't end up leaving until almost 12pm.

The weather once again changed, and we drove through showery rain. Stopped at an amazing waterfall which sprayed over the road, and then again at another one for lunch, when we thought it had stopped raining, but wrong….just as we'd got everything out, it started again….umbrellas to the rescue!
