... to rain. Coming down a slight out of balance movement, u fall and your little finger stands in a position u never have seen it before and i dont mean in a good way. The bone was sticking out of my body muhaha there you are. At the top of the last mountain, rain, wind and a dislocated finger. First reaction was to pull my finger hard so the bone went back into its original place.

... were fierce today, so it simply wasn't safe to venture out close enough to the edge to properly frame and snap that postcard-perfect picture. Nor was it possible to pose for the iconic shot that everybody wants taken of themselves, seated with their legs dangling over the edge, for what would be the ultimate Facebook profile pic!
Of course, I must admit that even had the day been without any wind at all, it's still doubtful that I would have dared ...
... the trek. The cruise made a stop at the Lysefjordsenteret for coffee and Norwegian waffles with sour cream and jam. The sour cream wasn’t tart, like I expected. It was a nice treat. The center also had a small salmon farm (we could see the salmon jumping in the enclosure), aquarium and garden. It was such a gorgeous day, it was nice to have a short walk before we got back on the boat for the return to Stavanger.

... ages! Stunning. Last night we had a silly 5 minutes on a large inflatable cushion in the children's playground, we laughed so much & entertained the neighbourhood! It wasn't just us, other reprobates did it too. It's been very warm today but it's freezing now, 10pm & still daylight. It's weird going to bed in daylight, it doesn't get dark till midnight. Anyway, frozen now so going in nice warm car/tent. G'night ...
... then it was time to head back.
Unfortunately the hikers I came in with were long gone however being inspired by my slightly 'off-track' walk in with them I decided I could use the GPS on my phone and perhaps also make my own little track back. So I set off using the phone to basically draw a straight line back to the hotel where I knew we would get the cabs from and whilst the first 15mins went fine I then found myself in some seriously rocky and ...
