To get from the train to the statue you had to climb about 100 steps, i was the only one who didnt take the lift and walked up this stairs which actually was to my advantage as it meant i was the only one up there because everyone else was in a que.       ... disappointed we didn't see anyone doing this as some other girls at the hostel did. Serious FOMO. Third day was a little slower thanks to our very boozy night out in Rio at a churrascaria and an Irish bar. Were supposed to go hang gliding, but the winds were too strong for landing so it was cancelled.
