The "eternally sunny port"... CLOSED MONDAY!!!!

... Turned out the café was the choice of the locals as they all started piling in once we got our meal and it was full by the time we left. Good choice! Back in Cambrills the wind was still howling so much so it was making Val's eyes water. Another afternoon in Scooby reading our books. Tomorrow we are heading south to outrun the wind!

Surfing in the Med

The plan was to go to a little village on the outskirts of Tarragona - Altafulla but it didn't really tickle our fancy and nothing open so went a bit further south to Cambrills. On arrival I noticed that there were some waves off the beach which were probably surfable. As we drove further along the beach the waves got bigger and then I saw a few guys out there surfing. Excellent!!! I pulled over and said I was going in and the girls would have to occupy themselves ...

Day 30 - Ollys arrogance makes him sick

Waking up by rolling a few meters on the sand into the sea is fun (not as fun as shirt ball though). After leaving town we realised there was road works on the road we needed to be on. It was begining to seem like there would have to be a massive detour but by skillfully pointing at my bike and the road many times until the workers let us go down it; despite massive diggers swinging about. Spanish ...

Day 29- Shirt ball!

We woke up with ALL of our stuff after having a hassle free night. Well, apart from the surronding gays and tractors. We spent a majority of the day chilling on the beach playing kick the bean bag and a new game called shirt ball.

Me and Alex invented shirt ball as a way of cleaning our t-shirts in the sea without getting bored. The rules are simple, you basically tie a tshirt up in to a small ball and throw it at each other as ...

From wet and windy Santander to warm & sunny Med

... because it´s solid as a tank and drives like a bus), would make the retired Leyland workers who built him very proud.......! Minivan life is a routine we are getting into, but as we´ve already discovered I´m really a city person as wild camping in a pitch dark national park FREAKED ME OUT!! Marja is still laughing about that night. If there´s no photos we didn´t manage to upload them, but will try again soon .

My new home

Well after spending three weeks in a hostel, I've finally moved into my new flat. I share this flat with the land lady and another guy. Neither of them speak English. The city of Reus is not that big. I can walk around the whole city in a couple of hours. It feels like the size of Oak Bay. The weather has been really nice. Always in the high teens or low twenties. At night 10C. Some people say its cold out when its like 15C and I'm ...
