... had made it's way around. We climbed some great routes, warming up on a couple vertical face climbs around 7a (5.11d) up to an amazing 7a+ roof with a 7c boulder problem extension (5.12d). We saw a great sunset on the hike back to the campground, had another giant meal and a few beers before turning in.

... Tarragona's main archaeological claim to fame, this site includes partly Roman interior walls and more recent exterior walls, built during the war of Spanish Succession. The 'passeig' is the path that runs between the two. It is peaceful and well preserved and complemented by attractive trees, shrubs and flowers. The site is linear and so you get to see it all from both sides if you walk to the end and back.

... for the early part of the day and we weren't expecting James or Tony & Kay to be up and about soon, so we went for a walk to perhaps see some areas we hadn't been to before. We wound our way fairly randomly through Tarragona's streets, slowly heading up hill until we finally intersected Rambla Nova, quite a long way down (or up) near the castellers statue where we spent an amusing few minutes trying to get a photo of the work without people in it.
