      Sunny in Argeles

Another decent night at Collioure, dry and warm. Then a drive around and a look-see! Found the route to the fort on the cliff and one could stopover there, gratuit. Drove around a little and found one could also park at the 'gare' dans la centre Ville de Collioure, so we will, later after shopping and ...

... you can log in - if you remember to take the iPad with you! The afternoon walk was up a hill to see the old windmill. Our afternoon drinks were at a bar/restaurant we had ...

To say the last few days have been a cornucopia of new sights and sounds would be exactly right. We leave the apt. in the morning and return late into the evening. Our eyes are filled with color and motion, ears are numbed by the cacophony of noises. The first I love; the second, I can get to be overwhelming. Traffic , people and construction all make for a hugely noisy place. If Barcelona is loud, it is also beautiful and varied. It is truly ...

      Perpignan - pleasant surprise

We left our hotel at 11am bound for Perpignan, something over an hour away. The day was dry, partly cloudy and mild, and outside of one minor patch of road flooding, and some inundated low lying fields, and fast flowing and dirty streams, we saw nothing of yesterday's mayhem. We wanted somewhere to have brunch and not having seen an eatery as we drove the course set by GPS, and also having taken an earlier turnoff at a roundabout than we should have, we ended up in a ...
