From Ian. Trip largely over now just a matter of drying out. As you might have gathered trip from Mahon to Colom on Mallorca was quiet exciting. We were caught in two big thunderstorms both of which hit the local papers. Although missed the 3cm hailstones we did get the 40 litres of rain per square metre in 30 minutes- whatever that means. The sting in the tail of the trip was the second storm as we entered Colom in the dark. Not a trip one wants to repeat too often. ...
... cost the earth. In the end we decided upon going to Palma and it was going to be 70E + per night and water was costing 5E regardless of how muchyou consumed upto 5m3 – lets face it we, even after filling bothwater tanks and washing the decks several times would be lucky to use1m3 – RIP OFF!!

We were warned thatthe berth they allocated us would be fairly rocky – so we wanted toget there before the sea breeze would come in. No luck ...
... we had passed the day before.
There was a huge motor boat anchored right in the middle of the bay therefore finding a suitable spot to anchor in proved pretty tricky.
Another boat which had arrived just before us turned out to be a Danish couple we had
met last year on our travels. We last saw them in Lisbon. Had a quick chat which was nice.

... left for passengers to take and solve. See, it was "Crosswords" Not "Cross words". You were expecting rows and arguments, weren't you? Well it's nothing worse than controversial than puzzles. And the crossword is perhaps more puzzling than necessary as every day there are mistakes in it. Some times its random numbers scattered about the grid which do not relate to any clue. At other times the tenses of the clues are wrong. One clue ...

One odd thing is happening aboard the Anthem of the Seas.. The ship is running out of stuff. Yesterday our favourite bar, The Schooner, had run out of Budweiser and certain other popular beers, so we had to have bottles of Stella Artois. Then today at breakfast they did not have low-fat spread, and at lunch no red jellies only orange ones. Worst of all, this morning they had run out of ...
