    ... to stifle said laughter. Well, we ALL know how well suppressed laughter works…it DOESN’T…..it just gets worse. Well, we were all laughing so hard, tears rolling down our faces. If only you all could have seen his face as he tried to walk into the mirror as if it were a door. I have no idea how many times he hit his nose. Methinks he consumed a wee bit too much of his spirit of choice this evening…heck he may have been at it all day! ...

    ... we went. Our first goal….the Cathedral. Interesting Gothic church with only one tower. Looks like they didn’t have enough money to finish the second tower. Oh well….better they should save it (no…I better stop there). No, we did NOT go in, outside was plenty nice.

    Second goal – the Alcazaba ruins. SO COOL! Phoenician ruins co-opted by the Moors so one may see a Phoenician column supporting ...

    ... here. Again, they show a tremendous amount of patience and willingness to help.

    The Marriott is a very nice property, catering mostly to English speaking guests. Ironically, what we are finding is that we don't particularly care for Costa del Sol, or at least the Malaga-Marbella area. We know now it's far too crowded for our tastes. So Thursday, we're heading for the [white] hills!

    ... 24 hours to get from Fes, Morocco, Africa to Bristol, Somerset, England. It's like the amazing race, but without the million dollars at the end! Provided we have calculated the correct times for busses and ferries I think we gat this. Well, we're just going to have to have 'Gat this' as we have a Ryan Air flight to catch and grandparents waiting at the other end!     ... on the bike and ride with one hand on the break and throttle and the one on the clutch. Away he goes again and we follow him along the trail trying to remember not to look straight down at the rock I'm about to hit but to look 10m ahead and failing miserably. I tootle along in second gear unable to get the hand of changing gear when standing up dodging rather than avoiding the oncoming obstacles.
