    ... fruit similar to a plum/ greengage / apricot. I’ve just read that the stones are toxic. Useful to know.
    The nispero is so important to the village that they hold an annual festival celebrating the harvest. This was a couple of weeks ago but the harvest continues. Chef will be attempting some Nispero recipes in due course but for the time being we have a fruit bowl full of them….
