... about ambition or dreams or frustrated dreams....slowly slowly. ....not clawing or holding on too tight. It really takes the pressure off, all things will happen, in their own sweet time! And our days here are long...we've worked mornings, and eaten late, cooking on and huddled close to the fire, off to bed at midnight. No TV, not much radio and next to no internet! The day stretches on until it's suddenly ...

We've just celebrated Easter, with a fast amount of food! Three things seem important here. Gigantic platters of lamb, thick walled pastries and family. I was lucky enough to be invited to join my friend Seb's family. The interior a cross between ...

... calcite. A harp of three thin columns rang when we tapped them, their resonance carrying through the space. As the light fell the boulders at the far end seemed to grow and we seemed to shrink, so the route back to the cave entrance seemed like an increasingly impossible scramble across huge stones and vast crevasses. We made it out and walked back in the cold night air. Brandy laced chocolate caliente warmed our hands and hearts and we tucked into fried fish in bar in Santa ...

      The first day of Spring....

... the freezing cold kitchen, no gas, no coffee, no shower(!) and headed out, she to find Andre and faster internet to contact local hotels to promote the boat and me to a bench in the sun to thaw, our days improved! I was given the job of walking Maggie, whilst Roo and Pete sussed out hire cars in Palma. We headed out of town along the GR221 route to Soller. The path led up through a scene strewn with stone and timber. Men were ruthlessly clearing an old olive ...
