Pictures from the IB pre-Christmas party (in Finnish pikkujoulut). Finns are crazy about celebrating Christmas already before Christmas, starting in November. Every work place arranges a party, where the employer offers great food and drinks. Then you have your own parties with your friends.. so you are fed up with Christmas well before Christmas, after taking part in couple of parties and gaining some kilos after eating excessively.

Still some days left in Finland before I may departure for Paris again. I have a big exam on Friday and I try to study for it. Well, lack of motivation and missing Basty much aren't exactly helping in this task ;) Finland is grey and cold. I miss Paris as well. I can't imagine we have to leave Paris in three weeks for Germany.. Here some pictures from Joensuu.

... week will be more inspirational and Helsinki follow afterwards, with Tallinn and ankkarock, for a little more of drunk Finns and wicked music. can't wait...partially, that is. because afterwards it'll be time to leave and i'm not really sure I'll do it gladly. i think Finland put a spell on me...i believe there's even a song like that...of course, bittersweet-apocalyptica, feat.vile vallo and lauri ylönen (not sure i spelled it correctly, so please all who know how, forgive me :).

Intelligent, protective, bossy, serious, stubborn, with minds of their own, independent spirits, reserved with strangers. True personalities.

Back in Joensuu to work hard with my studies and prepare for four months of Russia. It was getting colder and darker all the time. After Berlin I had to get used to it again. Wasn't always easy. I was freezing most of the time and the darkness was getting to me as well. But surrounded by my family and friends after a long time in harsh Germany, it wasn't all that bad either.
