    ... of times, it turns out that I am able to make do with the old school paper map I have (I refuse to use a GPS function on one's smart phone, mainly because I don't own my own smart phone!)) and get onto the highway, off the highway and to the National Park.     ... also kinda awesome as people danced around the deck and we stumbled through the Finnish songbook and chimed in on folk songs that luckily had lots of "la-la-la" parts.

    We docked around eleven and then headed up the river to another boat -- the Aussie bar -- for more beers. I suspect in Turku, if you're not on a boat of some sort, you're sort of missing the point. The river is gorgeous all lit up at night, and we had a great time enjoying our penultimate night of the trip.

    ... overnight ferry. We boarded the ferry, located our cabin then went exploring? It was a big ship with shopping galore! It seemed everyone's priority was to check into their cabin then shop!     ... as well - I've never even met 10 of my fellow travelers / guidance counselors. My roommate is on my FB friends list already, and she's from my home town as well. We have some friends in common, even. I'm sure we'll get along just fine.

    Anyway, talk to you all later, I'm off to do something useful. Like cleaning the apartment so I don't have to be embarrassed to let my friend in. He's watering my plants for me and I can't leave a messy apartment for him to see. Heh.
