    Today's day trip was to take me to the western coastal city of Turku, Finlands former capital. It was a 2 hr bus ride and I had already bought discount bus tickets ahead of my trip.

    ... know the teaching styles in the United States, so I want to get a sense of a different countries. I want to know if Finland's education is superior because I'm a little skeptical. Also, Finland was never a place I wanted to travel too, but I'm traveling here to cross of the education enhancer part off my Bucket List.     Alex headed off on his own to do some sightseeing, while Catherine and I set out for a stroll around the design district. We browsed in a few galleries and then had breakfast in a cute little cafe, caught up on some emails and sipped cappuccino. One thing I should mention is that the WiFi in most cafes and public spots tends to use long Finnish words with lots of vowels as passwords, which is kind of amusing when you ask for the code.

    ... taking photos and got to the castle with an hour before closing. There are 2 sides to the castle. The towers and main castle area and another exhibition. They have the rule that to see both at the time we were there you have to change sides by 5.30. I missed out by 5 minutes so only saw one side which was a little disappointing.
