... a snake! Finland only has 2 snake species and only one being venomous. Had an awesome close encounter! So, it was a productive day all in all.

Lesson of the day: To drive a car from A to B, is not normally a medal ceremony event for me, but today, after being so scared to drive in another country on my own in the first place, it was. We browsed in a few galleries and then had breakfast in a cute little cafe, caught up on some emails and sipped cappuccino. One thing I should mention is that the WiFi in most cafes and public spots tends to use long Finnish words with lots of vowels as passwords, which is kind of amusing when you ask for the code.

... taking photos and got to the castle with an hour before closing. There are 2 sides to the castle. The towers and main castle area and another exhibition. They have the rule that to see both at the time we were there you have to change sides by 5.30. I missed out by 5 minutes so only saw one side which was a little disappointing. It was a huge castle with so much to see so we definitely needed a couple of hours. After the castle we ...
