Ein Blick auf besagte Karte verriet uns, dass wir bereits mitten in Angkor Thom standen, der legendären Hauptstadt des Khmer-Reiches, in der im 12. Jahrhundert bereits 1 Millionen Einwohner gelebt hatten (zum Vergleich: in London gab es damals nur 50.000 Menschen). Day 3 - Templed Out

That evening we went back to the hotel and had a swim with everyone in the Pool before being picked up to go over to our tour leaders aunties house for dinner the food was amazing! ... Most importantly... We saw.......WILD MONKEYS! The whole reason we came travelling in first place! After An exhausting day we ended up on pub street looking for some food. We wasn't expecting much but when we got there couldn't believe how much choice there was and it was incredibly upmarket! We settled for an Italian and had pizza and mushroom gnocchi. Sick to death of currys and noodles ...
