We just got off the bus and wondering what to do next and a a man yells out Night Tours. As we actually had tickets to get on it we thought …why not …so we did. Yesterday we revisited Ground Zero and were taken on a 90 minute tour round the site of the twin towers by two men who had been involved on the day! There was a lot of preparation going on to ready it for the 13th anniversary of that dreadful day which changed our lives for ever.
One story is about the Survivor tree -a Callery Pear Tree - which was found uprooted and burnt and was being taken to a dump a fortnight ...

The maps were not accurate of the park and we spent a lot of time looking for the dairy museum (yes a dairy museum from the parks early days) and carousel. We instead found the Sheep Meadow and had an ice cream. When we did finally locate the dairy museum it was shut. It was at this time that Chanel and I parted ways.
