    ... needed a reviving coffee on the east side near 67th, and we dropped the bikes off close by, deciding to walk back across the park.

    ... a walk and lie on the grass. Again hot!!! Walked  down to the Metropolitan Museum of Art??? (MET) and enjoyed a walk around for an hour or more. After seeing a few hop on, hop offs pass us by, we finally got on and then home to get glammed up again.     ... bookstore (Kinokinuya) - amazing collection of small, finely detailed figures (pictured); intricate paper cutouts; astronomical projectors, etc. Moving from there, we strolled through Times Square (a bit quieter from the night before) - and stopped in a 3-story M&M emporium - millions, maybe billions, of M&Ms. As many as there are stars in the heavens.     ... where you say to yourself, "I will never try to save money on ground transportation again!" and mean it this time! It's a wonder our driver got us here and didn't run someone over. Thank God the bartender at our hotel, the Refinery, just kept refilling our glasses (a first ever!)
