Very slow start to the day after last nights 2 drink booze marathon.
Left the apartment mid morning and headed straight to the Information Centre which was actually located straight across the road from the venue where last night's carnage occurred. After the excitement of the morning we decided to relax in the arvo chilling at Mangos bar eating and drinking and watching the Chargers, Mustangs and Camaros cruise by. We aimed to head to the beach but accidentally had a 4 hour siesta, and didn’t wake until after 8:30 so we headed out to find steak but after wondering ...
... further. I fiddled around for about 3 hours but just couldn’t get it to come right. So fast forward to today in South Beach Miami when I called into an electronics store and discussed the problem with them and he firmly believed I had a virus – he was at that point reasonably confident that he could save all my photos and docs to a pen drive and re-install. However when I picked up the laptop tonight - he told me that he had been unable to do that ...
... bad. We then braved the elements and took a couple of busses home through the ghettos and got home about 12.30pm.
Some pretty ordinary cereal for breakfast and we planned to meet Butts and Foxy at the local Walmart. We hadn’t been to one yet so were pretty pumped! The joint is absolutely massive. Its like a Bunnings, K-Mart and Coles all in one. Crazy. After we picked up some make up, clothes and a couple ...
... for Sint Maarten, where we would spend 3 days getting the lay of the land, sourcing where we would take the boat once we took possession to be fitted with all the equipment for cruising etc., opening accounts with the chandleries which would be supplying us with items we still needed to purchase, look for a Marina to stay at, and a haul-out company where the final work and cleaning would be done to the boat etc. etc....the fun begins !
Tomorrow we leave for Sint Maarten.
