You guessed it, the agenda for today involved more walking around Rome. We zombie walked around our tour of the Vatican as we weren't surviving on much sleep! However it was so worth the early start as the buildings and art works were absolutely incredible. ... because it was closed the night before. The Trevi Fountain is under restoration and thus is empty and covered in scaffolding. I was really looking forward to seeing this beautiful spot, so now we will definitely have to come back to Rome. Then we stopped at the perfect non-touristy lunch spot.
