The tastes went from spicy, to salty, to sweet and sour, and we ate a whole fish (complete with the eyes and tail), frog meat, shrimp, bamboo, and a lot of rice. My favourite dish was by far the spicy frog meat.

... on campus to celebrate, sitting outside in the sun chatting all afternoon before going to Lao Wai Tan and the bars there in the evening. Around this time Hannah decided that she was finding life in Ningbo to difficult and went home. This freed up my original room again, but moving back into it proved to be a lot harder than moving out had been... First I had to go to the accommodation office to get a form, but naturally the man I needed wasn't there so I ...
