Today was our first full day on the island. We woke up early but then both fell back to sleep so didn't actually venture on until about 11am. I had a morning chat with Laura which was nice, catching up on all the latest Otley goings on lol. Matty really wants to do one of the island tours over to Maya Bay, I do too but just not sure on price and we seem to be running out of money quickly. We headed out to get lunch first and then tosee about going out to Maya Bay. We ...

... as we didn't remember the way and it started ******* it down again! We came across a few bars and went into the nearest one. It had a good atmosphere with the music pumping and games of beer pong around. In fact, most of the bars in the area had beer pong tables with crowds of people around playing. ... the bungalow. I didn't think it was possible, but the music is louder than the night before. I pop a pill and start to read to help get tired enough to not hear the walls shaking from the bass. There is a girl fight in front of our bungalow. Yes! I wanna see some crazy Australians throw down. It's super entertaining because of their accents and funny lingo. I hear some guys nearby yell "get on with it". Yes, please do. This girl is screaming at the top of her lungs ...

... my island choice. The nightlife solidified the fact that Phi Phi was party central. The music, the people, the beer pong, the diving; everything was awesome. Long Beach was worth the 2km walk, and several companies offered organized tours of everything in the area, from Maya Bay to Monkey Beach, and even the filming location from the movie “The Beach” with Leonardo Dicaprio. Getting to Long Beach required navigation through ...
