... traveled folks, few people are seasick. Good day to catch up on my pictures. Bill’s reading the guidebook to get some idea where we’re headed.
Tonight they decided we haven’t had enough to eat, so a chocolate buffet was set up in the Centrum. With the orchestra playing and everyone dressed up, it was a great time. Every detail is taken care of here.

We're now at 170 degrees longitude and headed toward the International Date Line, where we lose a day. At a question and answer session with the captain, one lady wanted to know if we would be moving from daylight to night. The shocked captain told her nicely that it would still be daylight and we only change the date. Only a few snickers! It is confusing, especially since we’ve ...
Once again I stayed on the ship for IPM, but today was rainy and humid. I planned to go to the pool, but the weather caused me to rethink that plan quickly.
I enjoyed working on some of my photos and creating more slideshows. You may wonder why I don't post more photos, why am I posting mostly just video slideshows?
As a photographer I don't wish to allow ...
We over-nighted in Bora Bora, many crew members went ashore to enjoy a night on the beach or a stay in one of the grass hut hotel accommodations.
I went to bed and slept in until about 11:15AM. I needed the rest.
I had IPM again today and so after eating lunch I headed to the crew training room to take care of some lessons I needed to complete and then headed ...
Sandy beaches, grass huts on stilts overlooking green and blue tropical waters...what's not to love here in French Polynesia.
I have uploaded a video slide show of the sights of the day. To view the video in a larger size, click on the small video icon in the blog post until it opens up in a larger window.
I hope you enjoy it!

... Shows an.
Bora Bora, Society Islands, French Polynesia flitterjahr... huge! I kept a little more of a distance, much like everyone else in the group, except Neil.
We got back on the boat after about 45 minutes of feeding the reefys and the rays, then headed to a beautiful motu - this word meaning small island. The intense sun was perfect for a full on tanning session and some snorkelling around the bay.
Moorea is also well known for some famous island inhabitants - the Moorea dolphins. These guys are so ...
... I'm actually here - I keep reminding myself every hour or so. Bora Bora is everything I thought it would be... and more. I've seen pictures of it in countless publications, documentaries and travel programmes but it's not till you're actually here that you begin to fathom just how magical this place is. I mean, I've been to many places around the world that have similar surroundings but Bora Bora just has, let's call it, the 'X-factor'. I think it's a mix of ...
Bora Bora, Society Islands, French Polynesia velvetescape... on waverunners. We did a two hour wave runner tour of the island! It was amazing! I have never ever ever seen water like this in person! Everything looks fake almost. Then came back to the ship for lunch and went back to Bora Bora for some shopping! Tonight we are underway. My aunt gave me some of her motion sickness medicine, so hopefully I won't get too sick tonight! Tomorrow we arrive in Morrea (our last destination!).
Bora Bora, French Polynesia beachfnatic... making a noise on the trees outside all night. We had seen the type at Iguazu and it was about two inches long and had a serious sting, so we didn't go looking to ask this one to keep it down a bit! A relaxed breakfast (that word relaxed seems to be connected with everything we have done here) and then packing ready for a lunchtime 'bus' to the ferry terminal. We spent the last hour sitting on the dive boat jetty in the hot sun and feeding the fish with the last of our 'picnic' bread.
