    ... seen before, or an apple tart glistening in the window.
    And then the supermarkets and local farmers markets laden with local wines, hams, pears, peaches, nectarines and melons.
    Picnics in our cosy apartment have been the order of each day - sampling the local treats.
    meals in cafés and restaurants have just been the icing on the cake!

    Would we come back to Lyon? - definitely.

    Such a lovely morning that we delay setting off and have a potter around Besancon. It is a really charming town and we will definitely come back again.     ... and the chunks of lobster meat were beautifully tender and seemingly endless; very generous serves without being grotesque proportions common in America.
