Today was a day filled with lots of traveling to reach Lyon. The first stop was at La Fontainebleau, where a stunning chateau of Napolean was the site of the day. After a delicious cuppachino at a French bistro, the journey continued. After another 2 hours journey we reach Chateau De Cruix in the Boujelais Wine Region. ... it to 4am that night but we stayed up late learning more about each other's cultures and getting some great ideas for Louis' home town, Aix-en-Provence - our next stop.
Before heading off the next morning we just had time to get Steph some new Havianas and visit Claire at work to say goodbye and get some breakfast and a heavily discounted take away lunch ....her work is a delicious boulangerie (like a cafe bakery).

... fresh fruit,veges, cheeses and the like and then went up the hill to this amazing basilica "Le basilisque de Fauvriere" that looks over the city and has amazing views of the city. It just so happened that this day was quite clear and you can see right to the alps. Lyon doesn't seem like a huge city as it is quite slow paced but this was a way to see how grand it really is.
