      ... we were tired, so I sprung for a taxi, which was efficient and took us to the neighbour's house where we collected the key to Anne and Yoshi's flat.

      Anne and their son Nao had stayed with us a few years earlier. Now, they allowed us to use their flat while they were away in Japan. We made ourselves at home and were soon asleep in bed.

      ... our way back to the main shopping esplanade eventually, grabbed some lunch and sat in the sun at Bellecour Square and people watched. After lunch we wandered down the shopping street and admired all the beautiful buildings that line it whilst also doing a little bit of shopping.
