Nighttime in Shanghai
We had dinner in some sort of 1933 slaughterhouse built by the Brits. It has been converted into a contemporary restaurant. I have really had my fill of Chinese food. I am ready for a Quarter pounder w/ cheese. No takeout for awhile. We walked down the pedestrian way to the river. That was wonderful. Shanghai is gorgeous lit up at night. What a sight!!!

Hello Suzhou!
Went on a trip to Suzhou, near Shanghai, today.
Took us less than 25 minutes to reach it by train (apx. 50 km from Shanghai on a 250 km/h train).
Suzhou itself is build on canals (same as Venice). While we didn't end up taking a mini-cruise on the canals, we saw some of them and they were ok.
