... somehow I make it to the hostel alive. Thankfully I am greeted by the ever awesome Lokendra, though I am a Zombie at this point and just want a bed. After the free exchange of my USD to INR provided by the hostel (woot woot) and purchasing a nice cold water, I go to my room, meet my roommates, take a cold shower in the tub (more details on Indian showers to come), and go to sleep.

In the morning, believe it or not, the REAL adventure begins!!!

NOT!!! Hot and humid!!! ...

We had a bit of a lie in this morning & then went down for breakfast which was a buffet style breakfast. We then got rugged up to go out in the cold, it didn't snow as much as they thought but further north like Boston caught the worst of the blizzard, Scott tried to reschedule our flight as there were limited flights going out today but it wasn't possible but he did manage to reschedule our flight tomorrow from 5pm to 10am so we will have to be up really early in the morning. When ...

We walked to the Empire State Building in the freezing cold. New York had its first sprinkling of snow last night. No wonder it was so cold this morning. It was 2 degrees when we woke up. Anyway we went up 80 floors to the viewing platform and was able to see all over New York as it was ...

... terrorist attack on September 11, 2001. Where the famous Twin Towers stood, there are now two pools with cascading water flowing from the edges. Panels around both pools list the names of the almost 3,000 people from 115 countries, who perished that day. We entered the museum, where we were lucky enough to have timed our arrival to attend a presentation by three persons, who were directly associated with 9/11. Robert was employed ...
