Today the weather is dull and grey but we are still in our shorts......perfect weather for some schnapps shopping. We all piled into one motorhome and headed for the town of Zweisel to visit the famous schnapps shop. This shop is a tourist attraction in its own right ! Today we drove to Egging which is in the heart of Bavaria, the weather now is very and sunny. We arrived around lunch time and opted for a nice lazy afternoon reading and relaxing. It was warm but I still managed to complete my run with David accompanying me on his bike. The campsite e at staying at is excellent we have booked in for 3 nights so that we can explore the area. Marjolaine and I drove south-east into Germany to the city of Trier or Treve, where we would spend the night. The drive was not a *******e, less than two hours, so we arrived about 6:00 pm, and checked into a hotel on the Moselle river right by the Roman Bridge.

... a drink at a cafe. By the time we finished, we were getting a bit chilled, so we looked for a restaurant where we could eat indoors. Nothing excited us, except possibly the Mexican restaurant, embarrassingly enough (it was very popular, by the way), so we returned to the hotel, shared a bottle of wine and nibbles in the bar. By the second glass of wine, we had solved Kyla's problem of what to write about the Haitian diaspora. Alcohol aids anthropological argument.
