Hamish and I took a train and bus up to Each-Sur- Sure. A very pretty region that is part of one of the Luxembourg National Parks. The trees were past there autumn best, but still pretty. We started off by exploring the castle... now a well preserved ruin, that sits above a town that is in the"u" bend of the river Sure. Then we walked along the river banks towards Lultzhausen. It was a track some ...

tip top condition. The Motorcycle had come of age as it had just passed
its 21st birthday. Yesterday I took her via my friend Ted’s place to my other

She was staying at the hostel too, and once we got back, she asked what we were up to. We told her we wanted to ...

          ... sites.

Luxembourg seems like a strongly patriotic place. I've seen more flags today than in most other places. Seriously, they line every street. I guess that comes with being a tiny nation that has historically had to assert its independence time and time again. Tomorrow is a public holiday to celebrate the Duke's birthday (not his actual birthday, just his official birthday) so there were stages, sound systems and bars being set up all over the city. ...

... road and headed toward a more urban Luxembourg! In its own way Luxembourg City was equally as impressive and scenic, elegantly balancing new and historic divisions of its landscape. It was pristine and another place where there is a good picture to be captured around every corner!

The whole day was spot on! Like I said, days like this are what it’s all about!
