This evening's concert was most definitely the musical highlight of the tour. The Opera House as you will have seen in yesterday's post was beautiful and worthy of its significant reputation. The audiences here are clearly knowledgeable and responded in an unfailingly positive way to our programme.

... is so different. I’ll start by saying American Chinese food is a far cry from real Chinese food. I’ll also go on record on how blessed I am that the food here in the south is mostly sea food and mild, whilst up north, describing the food as extremely spicy would be an understatement. The one occasion I did try some northern food, I thought I burned my kidneys to ash.

What is more, late one night, whilst strolling through these new streets, led by curiosity alone, we, my roommates and I, stumbled upon a bustling little alley solely dedicated to BBQ. There, shop to shop, are nothing but BBQ stations lined up shoulder to shoulder.
