... mix of pre-romanesque, gothic and baroque. The pre-romanesque part houses very important relics among Christians - one of them being a cloth that said to have covered Christ's face and has blood stains. Aside the relics, there are many interesting sculptures, paintings, etc everywhere.

... our car and dropped by a nice bakery. (Of course!) We picked up a coconut macaroon and a florentine. They were both super good! We walked around the town a bit - this is very Asturian - there are so many sidrelias around. It's basically a bar/restaurant which brew/serve fresh apple ciders. People go there to get a cider or two with some food. Maybe we should try it for dinner tonight.

... Just as we arrived the weather turned again so we all took shelter until it passed. We got the photo and headed back to the apartment.

... Spanish trying to talk to us. I shook the hand of the dude and went for a handshake with his wife and ended up with an awkward handshake double kiss on the cheek situation. They take the double cheek kiss seriously here! We learnt after that and double-kissed our way around the room. The girl who spoke a little English said her husband spoke English so she went off to grab him and to our surprise an Irishman came out of the room and started translating everything for us. ...
