    ... aren’t great though apart from around the Paralimni – Protaras area on the south east coast. Mostly they are grey sand or stones. And in many places there are no beaches – just a rocky coast line- so it’s swimming off the rocks. But the Med is like a bath so finding a safe place to take a dip proved to be no problem.

    ... to the beach thinking that I haven’t carried my flippers all the way from Greece only to take them back. A couple of ladies from the group join me much later.


    The sparkling water is cool, motionless and simply irresistible. How I wished I had more time!


    Back to the room after dinner and every single piece of clothing is washed.
