Big decision! Everyone told us this was a must as a local activity so we bit the bullet and called for a quad. Just one. I wasn't too sure about being a driver, so it fell to Alan to take the reins and take the reins he did. Five minutes of instruction and we were off to explore the island. As we rode higher and higher up the hills the wind got stronger and stronger yet somehow we stayed on. Actually it was easy for me as Alan was ...

This will be the one and only time we get TWO free days in a row on this entire tour. So naturally I was a tad confused with what to do with myself this morning, it was so weird not packing and loading my life onto a bus! My free day was fairly similar to the previous, we walked across a "paddock" to the next beach over, paradise beach. This so called paddock made me feel like a camel crossing the desert - it's the most barren dead land once you leave the coast ...

... the castle ruins/ part of the town, then found a bar that was high up. Here i had a cocktail and watched the sun set. I then went looking for a place to eat. I found a nice place that had good food, and free WiFi. I ate dinner and facebooked mum and dad who were having their hast day in New york. After dinner i went to another bar, had a drink, walked around the area and then returned to the hotel/hostel. Here i
talked to various roommates and then went to bed.
