Sodehotel La Woluwe Brussels

Bonjour and Goedendag - Don't worry...this is almost the last of the trips...for awhile at least. Will was given a birthday trip option and decided that instead of selecting a city he'd prefer to select beer (with a side of mussels, chocolate and waffles). So we met up with Klara for a weekend in Brussels. Oh and since the movie 'In Bruges' happens to be the joint Ford house favorite of the moment...and being the dorks we are...we pranced around Bruges for a day too ...

There were chocolates and all kinds of souvenirs of this statue, but we wanted to see the real thing, so we eventually found it and were a little bit disappointed in the size of it, even though we had heard that it was small and disappointing. The rest of that day was fairly relaxed and I was actually feeling really shizer, so we had an early dinner (of Mussels in Brussels!!) and then went back to the hotel and just chilled ...

Today I was pickpocketed by three OLD men. Haha<br>how silly<br>At least they didn´t get much just more of an inconvience since they got my debit card and my license and my student ID. and we probably will now have to miss bruges since we lost a day grrr people..<br>Anywhoie..I love brussels still even though you have to be careful when shopping for lace tablecloths in the marolles ...

... our names multiple times during our 10 minute run. We will board our plane to Monrovia Liberia in a couple of hours. That flight will be 9 hours. It's 9:30am here in Brussells and 3:30 am in Texas!! We're a little punchy...and it will only get worse. The good news is that we get to sleep through the night once we get to Liberia.

Voltei hoje pra Bruxelas. Eh impressionante como as cidades sao perto, foi cerca de meia hora de trem. Deixei as coisas no albergue (o quarto eh super charmoso, no sotao, com o telhado inclinado em cima da cama e uma janela em cima de mim), e fui passear.
