... Australian National Maritime Museum and Sydney Aquarium. It is full of outdoor restaurants and bars and a Chinese Garden of Friendship, which is an oasis in the middle of the rather bustling environment. There is a Powerhouse Museum, which is a smaller version of the UK Science Museum with hands on exhibits and is where my brother had a space to exhibit work done by some of his research students a few years ago. We then took the ferry back to Circular Quay ...

In the humid drizzle, wind and sea spray I trudge on up and down running the Manly foreshore this morning in a vain attempt to burn off last night's Ben and Jerry's Cookie Dough ice cream. Woke up on Christmas day not hungover (weird) and the sun shinning (very weird). Thank you so much to everyone that sent me a card, I was overwhelmed again by the amount of love for me. ...

... In the world and it is pretty darn good! The beaches were buzzing with Christmas gatherings and BBQs. We left our car near Spit Bridge so that when we got the bus back we could drive to a beach with BBQs. Chris & Nia cooked a gourmet BBQ - Chris got some strange looks from the Aussie guys who looked baffled by him putting vegetables on the BBQ. Father Christmas even turned ...
