Our day of traveling back to the US started like any other day. We said our farewells to the Rupperts and thanked them for a wonderful visit, then began our typical airport routine. Great for getting a speedy drink though- literally tap the button for drinks, pick the one you want and they bring it right to your table. Amazing.

It was also lovely to see Nicola again (only third time in a whole year...) and her engagement ring is gorgeous! Very happy for her!

... Looked at the price tags and decided that Harrods was not for us. Presents for the girls will have to wait until Italy. We then went across to the London Eye, which was awesome. ... grocery store, checked our email at the open wifi standing outside the Crown and Sword Pub across from the hotel (wifi is extra here). Came back and enjoyed pasta, salad and smoked salmon. Pretty good fare for London prices. We walked 13 km today and checked a few things off the old bucket list. Watching Star Wars on TV. That was the first film my kids ever saw at a movie theatre.
