... English rules, people would be uncertain about the 'correct' number of kissesor specific greeting etiquette. The fact you would not just introduce yourself or say your occupation like "brash Americans do" is also quite funny. I like it, as it seems more natural. You may not want to keep in contact with everyone you meet or let them know your name until you learn more about them. I think I relate to their sense of privacy. One of my favorite things in London would have to be the big red telephone booths ! they are so cool, When we headed towards Big Ben we found a booth with a man on stilts dressed up as a British Policeman, for 1euro he posed us for some funny photos.
