After a bit of a break at our hotel, we drove down to meet old Friend Keith & Eileen at the “Stump Cross” for dinner, an average meal but the hand pulled Tetley’s was superb at 2-80 a pint. Then we went back to their house for a beer and to look at their wedding photo’s from last year. Home by 11pm. Another great day.

Boarded the 73 bus again for a trip to Oxford Street..the busiest shopping area I've ever witnessed in a city..wide sidewalks are literally jammed with people..stores are busy..almost claustrophobic! I wanted to see Selfridges..particularly after watching the series on ...

... 10.15 I came out of the underground and spotted a queue of people about 100 metres long standing patiently in the drizzle, and thought hell I'd better join this one it must be popular. It turned out to be the Natural History Museum, which was across the road from the Victoria and Albert where I was intending to go, and was full of children on schooltrips, hence the queue. (When I came out an hour later there was a queue stretching around ...
