... by a late stay of hot summer weather. Rain is on the way and expected to push the warm air away, allowing the temperatures to drop.

Her take on the Orvis Fly Fishing School:

I was a little daunted by the thought of 2 days of fly fishing instruction. Previously, I had never quite "got it" and was expecting more of the same. I was so wrong. Our instructor was only 22 years old. Still ...

... those times when you go for it because this confluence of paintings all in one place may never happen again. This Van Gogh and Nature exhibit features nearly fifty paintings and drawings from thirty museums and private collections around the world. And Van Gogh is one of my most favorite artists! ... Also, I wish the best to all others who are beginning their freshman year in college. These are wonderful years!

I hope everyone is doing well and hope you all have been enjoying your summer. Heard there are many places that have had some extremely warm/humid weather --- hope it starts cooling down for y'all.

I'll be back after our CT visit. Take care and lots of love to all.

When European settlers came, thousands of years later, the trail was used for travel between the English settlements of Deerfield and the Dutch settlements of New York. The white settlers and traders brought with them the horse and the wheel, neither known to the native Americans, as the European expansion ...

Well off we set at 8:30 am to venture along the hwy to get closer to Cooperstown. The toll roads are enough to break you. One we hit in Maine was $7.50, another $4.00 and another at $ 3.50, yikes.
We decided to take the #2 thru the top of Massachusetts which became a much more sensible drive to do. Very scenic along the way, but did not stop to take any pictures as Greg seems to be in groove. I must ...
