... never came. Fala would lie where he could see both doors. With failing health, he was euthanised in 1952, and is buried near the Roosevelts.

I loved this area at Val Kill, the green, green grass, the tall trees and the reflections in the stream. It was so beautiful. More time there would have been great!

With the majority of our errands done we spent the rest of the day seeing the sights. We first got some bagels and schmear (because they are non existent in Central and South America). With full stomachs we set out and saw the Empire State Building, Madison Square Garden, Statue of Liberty, and the World Trade Center Memorial. ... to pounce on Kim at any moment to steal her food. The squirrel won and we had to walk off in shame!! The museum of Natural History was our final stop! ... a slow walk.

I went down the stairs, and walked very slowly to Columbus Circle. Went to Pandora and purchased 3 new charms and there was a gift with purchase of a free bracelet. Yay!!
Found a shop called Crucieni, which had hand made bracelets from Italy. Bought one each for Eileen, Alyssa and myself. Very pretty.

Feeling very relieved that I didn't need to go to hospital in a strange country. I decided I am going to push through the ...
