Dear lordy I've left this next entry for quite some time. Perphaps it's something to do with the lack of internet connection. Or if I'm being honest it could have something to do with beaches and sunbathing and whats not. Yeah, that'd be the one. This means I have a **** load to write about. And my days, you're in for a treat.

Hey We have just finished the Feejee experience which was really good fun. WE had an awesome driver and tour guide and although we travelled just around teh main island of Viti LEvu and not some of the smaller more beautiful ones, we learnt alot about the culture and got to really experience life as a Fijian - and I have to say that it would be ...

fiji vacation

I highly recommend Fiji for any beach loving budget traveller. Super backpacker friendly transportation and accomodation infracstructure. Island hopping in the Mamanucas and Yasawas will not disappoint!

Fiji - I've arrived!
May 14, 2008

I've made it to Fiji! And it's all lovely and warm and beautiful. Reminds me of Thailand a bit but it seems the locals are a lot more friendly! Just got into my hostel (well more a resort with a dorm room tucked out of the way) and it's right on the beach - sweet! Tomorrow I'm planning my island getaway, a bit of wondering in town, and then kick...

Bula!! (it means hello in Fiji!) I made it!! It took me 26 hours and I'm finally here. It is wonderful!! My travel day here went without a hitch. I know Brandon had a few problems flying internationally with Air Canada, but my flights were wonderful. My first flight was from Regina to Calgary. I fell asleep as soon as we hit the air. My second f...

Fiji
Mar 11, 2007 (9 photos)

We left Fiji yesterday after a very relaxing week in the sun. We stayed 3 nights on the main land in a hotel ( not a hostel for a change) called Smugglers Cove. It was so nice I didn't want to leave. We had a private beach out the back along with a swimming pool, bar and restaurant. And best of all it cost 15 pounds each a night! We then went on...
