... from hypertension to diabetes. After the soak, I showered real quick dried and changed to catch to taxi back to JR Noboribetsu. The taxi driver and I had a nice chat in Japanese of what I have seen thus far. The short taxi ride is proven expensive 2000 yen, comparing to the bus ride of 330 yen. The train to Toya is very unpleasant as it is packed full of tourists with their heavy luggages. I only have standing room pushing again my luggage next to the luggage ...

... There was a steam room as well. I walked past a Japanese man and he muttered something. Maybe he was commenting on my hairstyle. It was Sawan's first time to an onsen. ... excellent! Lots of choices and the steak was tender and tasty. Their breakfast buffet was just so-so and I didn't eat that much. Their hot springs were soothing and we didn't get to try the semi outdoor ones 'cause it was freezing cold outside.

The hotel should put more effort in putting English signs since not all guests are locals.

There was just one incident that caused anxiety to myself and my friend. We ...

    Travel day to Yamanouchi

After an exciting win and celebration last night it was an early morning for my flight to Tokyo. Everything went smoothly and was off the plane and on the train into Tokyo. From there I took a train towards the mountains. I transferred in Nagano on to a smaller local train to a place called Yamanouchi. The train ride was beautiful heading towards the mountains and the fall colors. Hard to take a picture on the bullet train, was getting dizzy at points and I ...
