      ... one had concentric circles on the ceiling another Buddhas and a Buddhist scene with lotus flowers. Many if the caves had names and dates of their occupants, mostly date were in the 70's.
      The cove here is very pretty with a crescent shaped beach, lovely clear water, it would have been lovely living rent free in such beautiful surroundings.

      ... she could come and check us out. The food was delicious. Once we had payed and discussed what good year it is for olive oil, we drove into Ieropetra, the economic centre of the green house industry. We shopped and then looked for a top up shop, by the time we got to it it had closed for the afternoon, it amazes us that businesses make any money here, they always seem to be closed!

      ... t find a launderette, but there was a barbers shop open, Les desperately needs a hair cut. Whilst we waited for his turn the owner served us coffee and we were able to use his wifi. The cut was soon done and Les now 'looks like the man I married'. We returned to the harbour and had lunch, then set off along the coast road, as we drove east the weather was deteriorating, we could see rain ahead on the mountains.       ... a few smaller speed boats and yachts and some children just back from sailing were washing off a their of toppers, We walk back around to the harbour and decided it would be a nice place to stay for the night. Tomorrow the town will be open and we can explore further.       ... a handsome fishing harbour. There is also a causeway leading to Kolokytha Peninsular. There are also fine views of Spinalonga Island which was used as a leper colony from 1903 to 1957. We found a camping spot at the end of the village close to the causeway, we went for a walk onto the Peninsular passing some windmills in various states of disrepair.
